Schneider national terminated me for something I didn't do.I was accused of tampering with the qual-com. I had been having problems with the unit for about 6 weeks,and had reported it to my driver mgr. several times.But one night while returning from a sam's club deliverys in vegas,the people in green bay,couldn't track me and had the truck put in the shop to be checked out.the next day I was terminated ! My driver mgr. didn't even stick up for me.I applied for unemployment, and of course ,was denied ! I had to go to labor court to get the issue straightened out, even the judge thought the reasons were based on heresay and thru the reason for term. out,stated there was no proof.All because of two screws coming loose on a qual-com connection.Schneider still has my reason of termination on the dats report as a company equipment violation.Still can't find a job because of this !But i've got two attorneys looking into this issue,it states in ca. that to blackball someone is illegal section 1050 of the labor code.so if u go to work for these people,watch your back !

 

not sure, what happened was two screws that held the main plug to the satelite dome came loose.this was the first time I ever operated a qual-com,and didn't have the slightest idea what they were talking about.The mechanic had to show me what it was they said I tampered with..

 

They didn't offer me that option,they said I tampered with company equipment and that was reason for termination on the spot !!EVEN THOUGH IT WAS TOTAL HEARSAY !!This tractor I was driving had been in an accident back east then repaired and brought to Ca. to run on their wal-mart sams club accounts.The #### thing allways vibrated badly when driven.

 

I can't prove it,but when they first got the wal-mart Sam's club account,they needed drivers badly.they couldn't train enough in time,so they started hiring exp drivers for the account.But exp drivers demand higher pay,as time went on,I started noticing less and less of these drivers.I don't know if they were finding reasons to term these guys to put the recent school graduates in their positions or what ? Do the math. Makes u wonder.All I know ,is the word is out here in so. cal.They can't keep drivers on that account !

 

Jersey, tell me about it ! my only chance to work after all these years will be determined by a superior court judge .All I wanted to do was my job,be left alone,and raise my grandson.Now I've got to fight these guys in court just to continue on with my career ! It's been nothing but B.S. !!!!
