Hi Guys!
I am a student at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. I am currently working on a project to redesign a long haul interior and I am hoping to get your feedback. What would you like to see improved in regards to the storage, bed, and space within your truck? Also, do you exercise? I want to design the cab to promote exercise and health. Any suggestions. Any feedback is MUCH appreciated!
Thanks!
-Kelly

One of your classmates beat you to it, bro.

Yeah, do a search.
There was somebody asking the very same questions. Got some decent answers too if I recollect. -
I think all trucks should come with the option auto pilot. lol. but seriusly just a smaller steering wheel, about 16in and lighter steering when at idle maybe a two stage power steering box.
-
If and when rack & pinion comes standard, you'll get your lighter steering and smaller steering wheel.
Freightliner is trying it now on the Cascadia (not standard, but an option). -

A hot tub would be lovely.

Room to exercise... there really is none, unless you have a house truck.

If you based your design off of the 2001 Western Star 4964EX, I don't think there is much many drivers would wanna change about that cab. The most comfortable vehicle of any type that I have ever been in. Even on the passenger side, you stretch your feet all the way out as far as you can and you still can't touch firewall, and I'm six feet tall. Don't think you could do that even in a Rolls Royce or a Bentley, although I've never been in one. The arm rests on the door panels are in the perfect position, everything just falls into place.

Speaking as a good ol' boy who is tired of smashing his knees of the #### dashboard, shifter and just about any other piece of plastic crap sticking out of every place, please make it a little more functional and a little less showy. I'll probably catch a lot of crap for that, but seriously, the curves are nice, but my knees can't take it any more. A little more head room would be nice too.
(This may be a little biased as I'm 6'8" and 350ish)bullhaulerswife Thanks this.
