Hey y'all! If you have any opinions or suggestions on the best cell phone company, this is the place to lay it all out there (complaints, thanks, angst, etc.). Base in on equipment, signal, features, cost, etc. If you have something you truly love, share it... It may help someone save some money. And who don't wanna save a little green these days?

I use Verizon. Great service everywhere but Oklahoma. I have a good signal in Oklahoma, but much of the state, there is no data network for my phone. But along 35 it is good. OKC and Tulsa, plenty of data networks. I don't know how the other services are in OK, but Verizon's data service is non-exsistant in the rural areas of OK.

    Other than that, Verizon rocks!!!

I also have Verizon. I have 5 lines on my account and it's only $225 a month and that includes 2 Droids with data packages, 1400 shared peak minutes, unlimited text on all phones, unlimited nights and weekends and 10 numbers for friends and family. Pretty awesome package if ya ask me. Plus my wife and I love our Droids because of all the stuff you can do on them. Beats the iPhone by a long shot.

Hubby and I have been using alltel for the last 7 years with no problems, good coverage pretty much everywhere he goes from CO to the east coast and now with their wireless for his computer in the truck also very happy.

I have the Droid is well. My wife has the Droid 2. It works faster than mine, believe it or not.

Iphones are overrated compared to the Droids.

This post brought to you by Verizon Wireless, Motorola Droid, and PDA Net tethering.

I'm back with AT&T now, for what I do which is upstate NY to points south mostly they are about the best....again thats for what I do..

My company phone is Nextel it sucks and I had Sprint they sucked also....my Sprint Blackberry got spiked like a football I was so disgusted with the service and dropped/missed calls..

The Droid 2 has a more powerful processor than the droid 1.

This is a good subject, the sprint unlimited everything plan for $70 is pretty tempting but I think verizon has by far the best coverage area where as sprint is well behind them.

I use US Cellular. They currently have a plan now, called National 1000. 1000 anytime minutes, all incoming calls free, no roaming charges anywhere in the lower 48, for $50 a month. Only time I have no service is in canyons for the most part (no service is perfect..). Anytime you call in to customer support, you get a live human who is in the US and speaks ENGLISH. They are an expanding company, dropping towers anywhere they can get a permit to do so. They give you a new phone for free every 18 months. If you ever lose or fry your phone, no worries, they back up your contacts on their servers for free...

    The cons:
    1. Finding a US Cellular store if you need one on the road to get a new phone, etc. Very few of the stores they have are in truck friendly lots.

    2. They do NOT use sim cards, so finding a cool unbranded phone cheap won't do you any good. You can only use the phones they sell.

    3. Most importantly, they have branded the Chicago White Sox home field US Cellular Field. As a lifelong Cubbies fan, this was a hard pill to swallow... :biggrin_25522:
