Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I am an owner operator looking to hire a driver with atleast two years experience for insurance purposes. I am looking for someone who is willing to work hard. I have a driver who is not turning the wheels and is ruining my reputation with brokers and not making the money for him or enough to get the truck expenses taken care of. He needs to be replaced ASAP. I need you to fax me your driver mvr and call me if your interested. Call me first if your interested at 716-498-0055.

Sounds like the last guy I replaced. Got any more details like kind of truck/trailer, time out/off, pay rates, and/or areas run in?

I am still looking for someone to give me a chance. I did try to go with Knight but since the last company I worked for is making it impossible for me to get hired anywhere, I had one true accident that is on my DAC report and an incident both of which were not DOT reportable. Then when I was let go from the company, I called my husband to let him know that I was let go and needed to get back home I was told that was against Company Policy, How can it be against policy if I was no longer an employee?
I had the was able to go through the whole orientation with Knight Refrigeration and a road test. I had nothing but right hand turns at a dozen in total not one left turn in the whole test. On my last right hand turn my warning was real short and the only words that was given was, " Real tight" and it was I had to make a hook turn missing the curb by inches, all my turns I missed the curb. My road test unlike the others I got to backup between two trailers and only had one pull-up.
I JUST NEED A CHANCE TO WORK FOR A SMALL COMPANY OR A OWNER OPERATOR, AT LEAST GIVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A ROAD TEST.
I NEVER FAILED A DRUG TEST AND WHEN ASKED I WAS ALWAYS ABLE TO HAVE A DRUG TEST AS SOON AS I WAS TOLD I WAS RANDOMLY SELECTED IT MATTER TO ME. NEVER REFUSED TO TAKE A TEST.
I never had any DOT reportable, no tows, no fatalities, no injuries accidents or incidents. -
How did it go
