Just because the EOBR will say the hours are available and the companies will know it, does not mean the driver will be rested and therefore it will bring on a new trend of fatigue.

Blah blah blah. not bragging. started out stating my opinion against EOBR's and why, it turned into everyone getting a holier-then-thou attitude about running over hours. how will CSA2010 fix me? I still log it legal, i don't log it like i run it. i get clean dot inspections. E-logs may at some point, but i bet its awhile down the road. when they do, and then years later figure out how to keep drivers from messing with it, wanna buy a truck?

I have no holier-than-thou additude. All you folks who blame the Goverment for your woes need realize they didn't dream up the reason for E-Logs. The American public is fed up with storys of drivers KILLING people and being out of hours, they have had enough. Even if E-Logs are NOT the answer it will become law. Why do we read these storys all the time? Because some driver thought he/she could drive tired. I think E-Logs SUCK but, enough is enough.

The five major trucking companies that have endorsed EBORs legislation by two U.S. senators that would require electronic onboard recorders in all trucks to verify drivers’ duty status are J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Knight Transportation, Maverick USA, Schneider National and U.S. Xpress Enterprises. All are driver mills gaming the system!

Except that 4 wheeler has no CDL and are not bound by the HOS.

How can anyone be happy that EBORS IS A GOOD THING it will kill AMERICA as we know it ..... This is nothing no more than a money scam for the goverment .....CSA2010 AND EBORS will destroy the trucking industry and for all of you that are cheerleading for this it will get you in the end too .When it all goes in affect it will open the borders up for the mexicans to haul freight and the rates will go down not up as some think.....
