OOIDA'S load board has a feature for a few dollars more you can get the rates for the lane traveled. High, low. and average. It is powered by DAT so it pretty much up to date. ShippersPoint.com is a board that does not allow brokers to post or haul. Their numbers of loads seem small but hey if you get some good companies to work with you may be satisfied.

I finally got around to joining OOIDA and just got my membership package today. What do you think of their load board? I use Internet Truckstop now. I wonder if the same loads are posted on all the different load boards, more or less.

I saw your post with your truck and trailer. That's the set I want. Currently I'm going thur a refresher course to get my CDL. Can you give a little history on your background and advise to pursue this endeavor. I'm very interested in this. Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

The date on Waterloo's post is 2008. Alot has changed since then. I believe that Schneider did away with any new O/O on that program last year. Better check with Schneider to make sure before you invest time and money and not get what you expected.

Does Shipperspoint.com really work? I have worked with Real Time Freight before and have not made a single $ on that. I am wondering if shipperspoint is similar.

I use OOIDA'S members edge and 123loADBOARD. Ooidas has better features but 123 has some loads not posted on Members edge. Members edge does have a lane rate that gives you the high, low and average price freight is getting for the lanes. Member's edge is powered by DAT and if you join Ooida you get a discount on the subscription.

If I had a race car chassis that I needed picked up from The Boston, MA aera and delevered to Omaha,NE. Aprox size 14.5ft X 5ft X 4ft weight is 500lbs. It will be flat loaded and not crated. It will be put on the truck for you and can have dock delevery in Nebraska or will meet and unload. Have time but need a good price and can pay cash at delivery. Could someone point me to a place to post this. Any help would be great.

    Thanks, Don
