Why ticket the driver

because we truck drivers are filthy rich, dont you know that??

 

I know. I understand the push to deliver the freight but, at some point in time you must say NO.

 

I have tried to fire him at least a dozen times in the past 2 months. No luck. If I do you are the first one on my list.

 

For 20 years you have been walked on. Do you know why?

That has to be the most ridiculous statement I've read on this forum...Well, some in the political section may surpass it, but that ranks way up there...

 

That's right, with more hours teaching than most pilots have total flying and understand regs, pressure, safety and the value of doing things the right way so I don't endanger myself and others...

You on the other hand allow other people to make you do things you know are wrong...That's a quality that would get you thrown out of flight school and not allowed to have a license...It's too bad they don't have biennial reviews of drivers like they do of pilots so they could get rid of people with your attitude towards safety and doing things legally...

Man you must have picked a heck of a company

I can tell you unequivocally I drive legal, I allow no discussion of how I drive. I turn the key, I make the decision. No I do not suffer from the illusion of forced dispatch either.

If they are uncomfortable with my decisions we can part ways but as I said I turn the key and no one, repeat no one can force my hand to do that

In my opinion if drivers would simply understand that these companies are not worth the effort of driving for there could be great strides made for newbies in this industry.

And no my stance is not for their benefit but for mine. My reputation, my integrity, and my word are on the line. I do not sacrifice any of them for another.
