I was an O/O with them 8 yrs ago,[not a lease/purch] and just so you know. They pay straight line miles, draw a line from start to finish, presto, your paid miles.Needless to say I was out of there pronto.Co. drivers paid the same way.Beware.

The guy who road tested me at R&L a few years ago worked for them for 3 years. He said if he were going back to OTR, they would be the 1st company he would call (again.) He said he liked working for them, just got tired of the whole OTR thing so he took a job local with R&L. He started with them right out of school, so take that for what it's worth. My guess is if your just starting out, you could probably do worse? :dontknow:

    Hamsterrock74 Thanks this.

You better like being a sleep on demand driver and not getting paid for all the miles you drive. Bob Baylor also doesn't buy new trucks, just used ones. Good luck if you go to them.
