    Passed a slower truck passing an even slower truck in Illinois. $120 third lane restrictions. Wondering if by law the restriction is unconstitutional due to us paying highway use tax and fuel taxes to use the road or do truck taxes only pay for two lanes??

    A lot of people don't have a back bone anymore... Hence the first replies of "don't be there, you will be fine, just follow the law..." Good for you for fighting the extortionist government.

    How many states have a blanket restriction, if any?

    Here in MD it only applies if there is a sign posted on the stretch in question.
