WEAPONS
No weapons of any type are permitted in the cab or side compartments of Schneider owned or leased equipment or on company property, even if the driver is in possession of a valid permit -
Not if you want to drive a truck for a regulated carrier!
-
Most companies will not allow it and just as a side note
Never Just take a KNIFE to a GUN FIGHT
Prisons are full of people who thought they need to carry weapons -
I carry Chinese throwing stars, I have had to use them twice and they have worked awesome. Most thugs will run the minute you pull out a throwing star...

Hope you all don't mind me bringing this one back for this comment:
Under the Law Enforcement Officers' Safety Act (18 USC §926B), one can carry anywhere in the 50 states if they are qualified under the act, BUT...
Soooo... If a state says NO to the private entity saying NO to self defense on their property, you should be good to go. In Utah (for example) according to the Brady Scorecard (I really like referring to this
), Utah gets a whole big fat ZERO for:
- "No Guns in Workplace (Maximum 2 Points)"
- "Employers not forced to allow firearms on premises"
- "Points: 0"
-
Why challenge a policy when you can just keep your mouth shut and do it anyway?

Here is the deal, If you have a concealed handgun license in your home state and any state that reciprocates with your home states then it would not be illegal to carry a load handgun in your truck. If your a O/o that is cool. If you are a company driver anf the company says no guns then you risk being terminated if discovered. Remeber if the state you posess the CHL has a reciprcol agreement with said state then you are legal. Most New england states and the west coast DO NOT reciprocate so a concealed weapon in your truck would be illegal there,

Id rather be tried by a jury of twelve than carried by a group of 6!
HalpinUout Thanks this. -
