Well at least one of us got a load. Trust me, it wasn't me. I'm beginning to rot here. Gary called me 5am local time from the other side of the parking lot to tell me he got dispatched. He has a 2 p/u load in and around Portland with a drop in Lebanon CT. for Monday morning. Me? I'm waiting to call into the office around 4pm Pittston time to go somewhat ballistic. Not for nothing, but dispatch needed a favor and I said yes, now I would like to get loaded and leave this place. Oh, and seems as how I was empty first by about 5 hours you would think I would get dispatched first. Stay tuned for further news.

Well I got dispatched right after I wrote my last entry. I have one pick up at 7am in Cornelius Oregon going to Westbrook CT for Tuesday. It's a load of plants that loads outside of Portland. So right now I'm at Jubitz truckstop in Portland and have 26 miles to go for my pick up in the morning. Gary called me earlier to tell me he spoke to Jason and that I was going to get my dispatch. Right when he called my load came over the Peoplenet. Good timing, I was ready to go out of my mind with someone. This is my longest trip so far with Calex, 3210 paid miles. Not bad considering I sat an extra day. I will put in for a layover and get a little extra money.

Congratulations on the road test going well! Calex sounds like a great company to work for. I can only hope they are hiring after I get a year in with Stevens.

My week started out not so good.. Was on 84 east just before the toll booth for the mass pike monday and some lady in a jeep lost it on that corner and tried to knock the tandems off my trailer... Good thing is no one hurt and only the hub cap got knocked off.. Oil everywhere... of course D.O.T.showed up and the mass turnpike trooper and mass state trooper.. Lady admitted going to fast in the rain and lost control.. Nothing i did .. Just wasted 2.5 hours of my day. after my delay went to a 2 stop up in Boylston and Woburn,MA. picked up in Wocester,Ma. and took that to Elbridge,ny.. Dispatch got me a load from Rome,NY. going to Hanover,PA. If you ever get a load coming out of Silvan olive oil in Rome plan on a long day of waiting. Got to the shipper at 14:30 never got a door until 23:00 and was loaded at 2:35.... Oh yeah had at 15:00 appt. Delivered that and got a 4 stop load in New Castle,PA for friday. Made to the 173 on 80 friday and had to shut down out of hours so didnt get home until sat am .... Taking a wegmans load from Pottsville to Rochester Monday morning.. good start to my week... Hope everyone stays safe
