From this post it sounds like you are fresh out of school and quit in training.

    Shneider TRUCKING
On Sept 24.2010. I went to train with this great company Schneider :biggrin_25521:National. In Harrisburg,PA.. I got there with a friend of mine. We were going to do team. More miles more money.Well my friend did not pass the physicall test and was sent home. I stay hoping that that they would find me someone else. I did everything good backing up, Alley docking, turns, shifting. remind you I'm fresh out of school. Until I had to do a bump and run which is going from 6 to 4 on a turn or a curve. You have to swing out to your left and shift to 4. Well I missed it my RPM'S were too high. But this is all done at the last minute when you are committed. Well the trainer said to me that this unacceptable and that he-El- would have to talk to the director of the terminal and report me.Because I wasn't making the bump and run. So I when we back to the terminal I went to see the director and she was pretty cool about it. But the trainer said that I wasn't going to make even though I was on schedule. So i decided to quit Schneider I have not gone back and looking for a new company. I hope this is helpful for someone considering Schneider National I will try Carlisle Carriers in PA. TMC used to be a decent co. They kind of slid down hill for awhile. Not sure how they are now. The reason why their drivers went by schools was that it was easy pocket money. They used to pay them 50 bucks for doing that. Guys was going home anyway. While in their home town they would take that shiny long nose pete in so the students could drool over it. Was a good recruitment tool for the co.

I still think they would be a good co for a newbie. If things get bad you could do a year and move on. Personally if you want to flat I would look into maverick. I do not think you will find a better co to start with or stay with. I have pulled tankers, vans and flats and I would rather flat bed any day.
