Another point of note, when it comes to highways and interstates, interestates start in numeration from the west coast, and from the southern border, Thus I-5 is the western most and I-8/I-10 are the southern most roads in the US, however Highway 1 is on the east coast, and highway 2 is in Maine.

Thus the Grid's run in reverse of each other.

Here's a good site that explains interstates and hiways: http://www.pahighways.com/

It has some good links to sites that are very imformative.

Nope, just the Rand one for Motor Carriers.
It has all the info you need. Low clearances, most restricted routes, major weight restricted bridges. Axle limits by state, etc.
If you want a little more you can try and print off state info off the web sites, but it will not be 100% either. Since county's and towns set there own limits as well.

I spent a bit extra coin for the large print version. Did I choose well? or just toss $. It should be delivered tomorrow.

I have the x large one now, it is ok, but I have always owned the regular size on with the laminated pages.
So I am just not use to it, even after a year.
Too many pages for some states when I am trying to find something fast.
Also my GPS is Rand as well, and it tells you the grid and page on the map to look for locations.
But it is the page that it would be on in the regular size map, not the XL one.

I do not order maps from rand though. They charge too much. They are actually cheaper at the truck stop than from Rand.
One of the few products I have ever seen that are cheaper on the road lol.
