Just booked my flight to orientation in Atlanta, I hope I get the job cause it's a one way ticket, anyway they say I will train for 3 weeks then go midwest reginal, hope everything goes smooth, after alot of reaserch here on the forum I chose KLLM over Swift and Stevens. Any advice? Like where the hotel is and the name of the hotel, I will arrive Sunday afternoon but orientation isn't till Tuesday so I will have to get transportion from the airport to the hotel on my dime which is fine does anyone know how far KLLM is from ATL airport?
Headed to Atlanta on 4/18

Good luck driver I hope you do well. Just remember whatever you do stay with them atleast six months. Even if it gets bad its hard to tell how a company is going to be in less than six months.

Medic1: I believe you made the right choice, esspecially over Stevens.I am a scardy cat and have to research alot and KLLM (from a O/O point of view) looks very good. Company driver too. The airport has a easy public trans rail called marta. I am not sure where KLLM yard is, but the industrial part of atlanta is north of the airport. There is also a rail/truck intermodal area south. Be careful in atlanta, its much like detroit! Good luck!

Hell,
at least it was this year !!!! -
The south side is pretty rough .... but nothing like Detroit - I've lived in both.
