:biggrin_2556: This breakdown applly only too certain companys ,if your a company driver, i'll try too explain myself as i'm not very good at that in myself, nor am i good speeler as i get older, so forgive me please, anyway if you drive for a big company , if you work for a big company yes they pay everything, but make sure you phone- qual-com anything , cacth that flying pigion going by , but make sure they know, so you dont get charge for late fee on your load then , your boss will put thru too shop, now i drove for o/o thru the company's they work for, these people would buy the left over junk , thinking , they get cheap driver, then run the truck too death, in short trying too get 5 check's for same company, well this a good theroy if you like alot of headaches, for example i was north bound up thru ks, i belive its hwy 71, when i called the o/oi on his truck, i told him this truck , knocking real hard, now i know the diff between a bearing knock and desial knock,i pulled it right over and checked the oil, plum full, made sure that rubber expanded cap was on , fired it up , still knocking, the gauge was broke, he was gonna fix it,call him up , told him the next town up was cacthing motel and deal with it in morn, nope he said i gotta have that load in mn by the morn, i tryed to explain what part of this knocking dont you understand,i just blew the northbound coop when i thought i got hit by a missel, it blew, remined me those games in truckstop, that says your expired at end of game , pulled it off the road, called him again, now hes getting mad cause i woke up again, tell him his truck along side of road, yelling at me now, fire it up and get it up there, i just said okay , but i'll need two engine sides too do that, i could see clear thru the enging, still full of oil as it was right even with top of panthen he wanted me pay for tow too the dealer in ks, i told him ,not my truck , last i know its still in the dealership, bright yellow international, nice truck, just needs a engine, next fav thing of all dispacthers, is you get the load there, then they tell you just pay the lumper and will pay you on your check, well thats fine, but during this time , you forget and get lost in transaction, so i had a driver buddy on pass seat, these are those cloth sacks that has pockets, i copyed everything , my bills, tolls, lumpers everything, cause now you have proof and can take them and say , look i didnt get paid for that lumper , heres my copy and they will put up all yourt checks, you be suprized how much money they make off driver's while drivers going hungry , for its there load, most drivers say it its there load , let em deal with lumpers and stuff, this may be true,i always ask on my q-com , if driver asst or not or do i need money for lumper type stuff, i know back then , this wasnt on q-com, mayby it is now,:biggrin_25524: Everett.

Just think.... in a few weeks you'll be able to take that "WannaBe" off your profile.
Good luck in school. Be excited...very excited.
Don't worry about a crappy room. Most of the time you spend there will be with your eyes shut anyways.
Don't forget to update whenever you can about your school experiences...

first day of school was paperwork and studying for the general knowledge test, the test is wednesday. i have a little homework asignment which ill get to in a minute. the hotel is a complete dump, the bathroom door will not shut and i have a room mate but he seems pretty cool. there are 2 herion needles in the whole where klenex tissue should be, which is pretty nasty. at 6'0 the shower is kinda tight. other than this wonderful room i stay in at night all is going well. my physical and drug test is tomorrow so ill be studying for them too. ill let everyone know how tomorrow goes, as of right now ive yet to see a roach....

Sounds like they're getting all the formalities taken care of first, like the physical, drug screen, etc.
Sleep tight and don't let the bedbugs bite (sorry, couldn't resist)
