I got a great one. If your truck only does 62 on the interstate and is the slowest truck on the road please dont pretend like the truck stop parking lot is the indy 500..... Your going to get somebody killed

If there is another driver stranded on the side of the road its common courtesy to atleast try and get them on the CB to make sure they are ok and dont need any help. There are still some people out there that dont have cell phones.

Please guys take a shower atleast every other day if not every day. I know some of you dont mind but the rest of us do mind especially waiting in line for our fuel receipt and your the one standing in front of us.

DONT TRY TO SWEET TALK MY WIFE OR STARE AT HER WHILE WERE WALKING THROUGH THE T/S!!! That really bugs me.

Help the new drivers out there if they are having a problem.

    I couldn't agree more!!!

What if there is about 15 people waiting in line at the fuel desk and it takes about 20 minutes???? Not my fault or yours. SH** happens and theres nothing you can do about it.

i would really hate to see a guy waiting in line at fuel desk then come out and in hurry leaves his drive shaft on the ground--because somebody popped the line
if that happened to my --i know it would get very ugly

then my suggestion would be not to take 15 minutes inside taking a 10-200, filling your 2 gallon thermos of coffee (then dumping it out if it dont taste just right) scanning a week worth of trips, refinancing your single wide trailer, THEN going back after walking half way out because you forgot to buy doughnuts.

takes 2 oz of brain to use a little common sense and consideration for others to know you got things to do, and it might take you longer than it would take for someone to fill their tanks, so you might consider parking your truck.....that is.....unless you cant back.

Touching my truck with out my permission is a good way to wind up in a world of hurt.

A guy at the Oak Grove Truck stop found this out the hard way, my dog woke me up at about 4am growling at something, I looked in the mirror and could see a guy pulling a chain off my load.

I didnt yell at him, actually I didnt say anything to him. I just gave the 95 lb german shepherd his wish, I opened the door of the truck...

Something tells me that thief is going to think twice about attempting to steal anything again. I wonder how many stitches he had to get? That dog got ahold of him pretty good before I called him back.

your first point actually goes BOTH ways. Its not just the newbies who dont ask for help. Why is it, i can roll past someone on the side of the road, see 30 trucks pass me in the other direction, but i never once heard anyone ask the driver if they needed help. is it just newbies out on the road? if you dont hear anybody asking the driver for help, then that means newbies AND the vets arent asking.....it isnt just one or the other.

and as far as your 2nd post...if you're a confident man, secure about himself, why is someone looking at your wife/g-f an issue. you know what goes on at truck stops.....so if that is a sore spot for ya, i'd suggest leaving her in the truck, or not take her along with ya.

Always, always, always help a driver who asks for it. It's good karma, it's the right thing to do AND you can believe by the time he/she has asked they have usually tried everything so as not to have to ask. Don't make them feel like a turd either. Just help, offer some hard won knowledge or advice and be on your way with a "Good luck buddy".

would have loved to watch the dog go after that guy---funny as hell
i dont get to worked up sitting behind somebody in fuel line----its a good time to catch up on paper work--maybe wipe the dash down and such
but when i fuel --i dont have to go in and get reciept either--just fuel and go

And no need to BRAG about the BIG $ load your pulling , remember the CROOKS listen in around truckstops and on the CB as well.

And if someone offers you BIG $ to pull a trailer ( a very short distance ) its likely too good to be true and likely not his trailer
