Dont ask Dont tell. Thats how it was an unfortunatly its not anymore. Thank you General Conway for being the only head of any of the military branches for saying being openly gay is not needed in the military.

    FIRST: Stop and think!

Using a bit of common sense and common courtesy is something that is so seldom done anymore. It would make all our lives easier. And safer.

Just watching the Chilean miners saga on TV. Fingers crossed and a little prayer for those poor guys. Can't even imagine getting stuck in that trolly on the way up!

    Number one rule in trucking!!!

When dealing with "old dogs" it is appropriate and nice for you "pups" to bring em treats so they don't bite yer paw off. Cash and/or food is cool but hardware is ok too (I could use a new CB).

I'm gonna keep trying this until it someday works.:biggrin_25525::biggrin_2559:

Turn off those frickin' useless fog/driving lights... they only illuminate the 25' directly in front of the cab but produce way too much unwanted glare to oncoming trucks...

If you need to feel cool park in front of your garage door, turn 'em on and make shadow puppets...

PICK MY OLD ARSE UP OFF THE FLOOR with this one! I was drinking coffee! Now it's in my lap! They're brown! I think!

The one about looking where you parked is spot on! This isn't the Army on IG Inspection day! You do NOT have to park so the general can look down the line and all the bumpers are in line. Unless you LIKE to look at the guy in his skivvies next to you that truck stop might have pain good money for the paint for those lines on the asphalt! if there is one at the back of the spot don't park on the far side of it! If the guy next to you is pulling a 40' container and you are so bad at parking or like being a peeping tom and you get next to him with a 53" them genius you are now at least 13' into someone elses parking place! If you are so freaking lazy to walk back because you can't see where that ICC is to the line please go back to MickeyD's!

If you are OK with dogs in the house at home, they are great on the road. Have a chow mix that is mine & a pb that I am fostering. The other day while locking the door to go inside the t/s, someone walking by just laughed & said "I don't think you have to worry about someone wanting to go inside there." ;)

The point about getting your truck moved asap after fueling is a good one. If the line at Arby's is more than 5 people, you are making the next truck wait to get fuel.
