That would be pretty sweet... I have always liked listening to Bag Pipes.. Amazing Grace has always been my favriot song... I can hear it now (got it playing on cell phone).
-
Cool, been working on the Marine Corps Hymn for our birthday. Amazing grace has always been a favorite.
Quick story. My dad (a career Army Officer) would put on the pipes at 0600 every Sunday morning and we would field day the house before church. No small wonder I'm so twisted

Do let me know which truck stop all ya'll will be in. I could use all that free space to practice backing up in

Ohh and please play Amazing Grace!!! -
We have to be related. My mother had a bunch of LP's with pipe bands. They were playing all the time.
-
Everyone likes Amazing Grace!! Geez that one haunts me. Scotland the Brave is fantastic when ya have a hundred or so pipes going.
-
It's deff in the DNA. I went to the games in BC (Highland Games for you non Scotts) when I was 10. The pipes, I don't know how to explain it. Powerful stuff.

I HATE bagpipes. I've been to too many LE funerals. . .
-
Fun sucker. But seriously, not to stray from the thread to far, as a former LEO I understand. As a retired Marine the pipes also have a special place for me. We have always had a special relationship with the Royal Marines. Having traveled a great deal I have always been amused and surprised by the different military's that use the pipes. Usually former British colonies. Heck even the Palestinians and many oriental countries.
In those case it is a bit like listening to a Philippino in a Japanese Country and Western Bar (Western Tokio was the bar name) belting out "I'm proud to be an American".
Just not quit the same.

How many Scots and *shudder* Irish do we have? I'm scottish and belong to Clan Morrison. Long live the Highlands
