I was mentioning that because I didn't want you to feel like I was calling you out. I was giving you a chance to confront your demons!

This really bothers me. There are places you can drive fast, and there are places you should drive slow. A truck stop parking lot is one of those places where you should drive slow. I have been known to duck between trailers as I am walking inside when a truck passes me, because some of these idiots scare me.
People need to understand that this includes front to back as well as side to side. If you pull too far forward when I am next to you, I don't have the room to swing out wide enough to clear your truck and I will take your hood off when I leave in the morning. If you leave the rear of your trailer hanging out in the aisle, I don't have the room to swing out wide enough when I pull out and I will take off the hood of the truck next to me.
Also, if you park three inches from the side of my truck, don't give me dirty looks when I open my door and almost hit your mirror. I suck at this truckstop parking thing, so if I can get it right then anyone can get it right.
I had a conversation with a young girl behind the counter of a truckstop I stayed at last week, and some of the stories she told me just creeped me out.
I don't get this either. I would much rather sleep when the truck is off, as long as the temperature is comfortable.
Weather had been beautiful the last couple weeks, yet it seems like every truck is at idle. I get it when you need a/c or heat, and maybe some to charge the batteries, but it seems as if too many people want to idle for no reason.JimBob24 Thanks this. -
Thou shall not use your jake brake while going 5 mph in the lot. Just draws attention to yourself as if you were the child of divorced parents who didn't give you enough as a child. =)

yeah, i'm anal about making sure i'm centered. And if is a double row, i'll get out and walk back to see how far from the center-line the rear of my trailer is, and i still will allow 6 inches. I see drivers all the time who encroach 2-3 feet if not MORE into the spot behind them. Then when that ends up being one of the last few spots, that driver is forced to stick out that far. How hard is it to get out, walk to the back of your trailer then walk back to the truck. Heaven for bid drivers walk an extra 100 ft a day.
Dave 1960, JimBob24 and tech10171968 Thank this. -

that means you'll have to go blow $10,000 on chrome, and half as much on a radio so you can talk to the moons of Saturn. Don't forget to throw in a few grand in excess LED lights to blind other drivers when you pass them.
BTW....why do you need 8 red LED spotlights on the back of your truck for your catwalk? Let alone a quazillion on your bull or car hauler or reefer? they must be tracked my satelites in space using thermal imaging.
striker Thanks this. -
