Next time I am home I Will do that. Not too hard to figure out though. I run two students. That's threelog books. 6000-7000 miles a week # .90 a mile. Minus truck, fuel, insurance, phone insurance etc. Is about 2000-2500$ a week. Take away other stuff like tools truck washes tolls scales. I really do not care if anyone believes me. Do the math it can be done. But like I said with sacrifice.. you can't go home all the time expecting that kind of money. You have to stay on your Dm for tight loads with lots of miles. Swap loads that have time. My truck ran 260000 miles last year.

Simply put - How good is C.R. Englands TRAINING? Do they show you how to back up, properly shift, docking and undocking, straightline backing, logbooks, do they go thru the pretrip/brake tests & all safety aspects - the whole nine yards, etc, etc...
Again, thank you..... -

I am so glad that I have been reading these threads about CR England...I almost went to their training this coming Sunday. Think I'll start out with Werner or a local outfit first. Hell, maybe even garbage truck. At least I'd be home every day.

And I was starting to wonder when Cr England was going to be brought up again, been a few days.

my husband and i have been working for C.R. England for 5 months and yes we did lease a truck, we average take home pay every week of 1500, our smallest checks were in phase 1 training but after that we have not had a problem financially. we average around 7000 miles a week. our recruiter lied to us on a few things but nothing major. Our DM is awesome before we get within 500 miles of our drop we already have a new load assignment. we have yet to be denied home time. we had a family emergency 1 week after spending 4 days at home and they flew us home. the thing with sites like this is that the people that have done a half ##### job yes got screwed but, the drivers that actually want to drive have no problems getting miles with CR England. If you turn down loads then you wont get miles duh. my husband and i are yet to turn down a load, and dont have any problems what so ever with getting miles.
the training is awesome...they taught me everything i needed to know before i went out otr...backing, logs, how to manage my own business..everything gets covered...shifting, pretrips...i mean everythingLast edited by a moderator: Oct 15, 2010

if you are doing good with cr england then I a happy for you. I on the other hand did not have a good experience. This site is to share our experiances with other drivers. Just because you are doing good does not mean that everyone does. I have spoken to many drivers that have leased with cre and have had similar experiances. I am a great driver and I love my job. They were not giving me a chance to do my job. If I'm not getting miles, I can't make money. I do not appreciate that you think that I did a ###### job because cre didn't give me the miles I needed. I never turned down a load and when they did give me a load, I ran my ### off.

I doubt seriously you are averaging 7000 a week. $1500 a week average is for both of you? That is not that good if it is.

I've got 97 trucks leased on with them. Making multiple thousands of dollars. Couldn't be happier. My drivers are miserable but that's beside the point.
AfterShock Thanks this.
