WELL WHEN IN QUESTION SLOW DOWN OR PULL OVER. IF I CAN PULL OVER I WILL WAIT FOR A SWIFT TRUCK TO COME ALONG TO SEE IF I CAN FIT. ALWAYS LOOK AT THE TOP OF THE OVERPASS FOR SCRATCHES OR OTHER SIGNS OF DAMAGE. IF MORE THAN USUAL THEN RED FLAG. BEEN ALL OVER NEW YORK CITY AND CHICAGO SINCE 1983 AND NEVER TOPPED A TRAILER. I NEVER WILL EITHER BECAUSE I CAME OFF THE ROAD A YEAR AGO FOREVER.
YOU MENTION OTHER ISSUES BEFORE THIS ONE, WELL HE COULD HAVE SEEN THE DAMAGE. STOPPED CALLED THE POLICE AND HAD THEM DIRECT TRAFFIC SO YOU CAN GO BACKWARDS TO TURN AROUND SOMEWHERE. I HAVE DONE THIS A LOT OVER THE YEARS AND NOOOOOOOOOOO DAMAGE TO THE TOP OF THE TRAILER EVER.

Looks to me by this pic he didnt stay in the center. But yes, why didnt he dump his airbags. -
Probably because it is marked 13' 6". If it truely was that height, you shouldn't have to dump anything.

My first permanent ignore person. Having looked through each and every post by this individual, I have come to the conclusion he or she adds absolutely nothing to the conversation. Having been a cheerleader for the likes of Werner and CR England (at least England has decent equipment-Werner can't even say that) and at the same time have nothing but negativity toward Swift, who, even I admit, is on roughly the same level, I can only surmise this Pepper person is a Swift reject with lots of animosity. And apparently doesn't know how to operate that caps-lock key so the posts don't look like he or she is yelling at everyone.
lilillill Thanks this. -
Heres a thought i had, mayby drivers didnt give a crap , for they got a msg on q-quam , beep beep beep, they had a big fight the day before with boss man or lady , woke up this morn , says your fired , please drive unit too nearest yard , so they do , see a tunnel , bridge, they know its wroung and wedgeee under it tight and walk away and yell screw you , get that out your backside
, seen it happen several times while driving truck as told by mr wrecker man, hum
Everett.p.s. if i ever get fired like that, i still would never damage the unit, i just drive back too the yard fire up the ole chev truck and unload and go home and take my whopping along the way, sure its smarts , but there no need too damage the unit, i leave as i found it, mayby a tad duster inside is all, i seen a crst truck that i was supose to recoverd , they had too put truck on flatbed too bring it home , it was nasty inside.

13'6 in the middle. Or 13'6 80 to 80 in the middle? Clearly not on the sides.

That is what I was told in class....I pull a flatbed so I never have to worry. -
Ya I know it. It's about a half hour away. Never took a truck under it though.
