Is it just to easy to go to Menard's or Farm and Fleet to buy a step ladder???
-
I have no way of getting it home. I drive a 2 seater Toyota

I got a small step ladder but its like 6' max -
Do you have your rig registered???,....
You could always strap a ladder onto the frame to get it home,...
I did that once to get a 36 inch tv home,...Back before flat panel tv's,.....You should have seen the looks I got from people out front when I was loading it up,.....lmao,... -
thats funny. I think my MR2 would fit right on the 5th wheel it's so tiny.
I was thinking of getting one of those goofy collapsible/adjustable ladders like they sell at the fair.
Or as my Marine son suggested...toss a rope over the top, secure it and SCALE UP the back of the sleeper wall...

Yikes, that thing might leave a mark!!
It is the sudden stop at the bottom that ruins your day.

now just wait for winter---when you figure out how you are supposed to get on top of the trailer to clean off snow before you drive-----it will seem easy to get up on truck roof
-
Now there's a Marine's solution!!
I bet that thing would hook one of your horns really well. But supporting your weight might be another matter.......

on a serious note, I have 2000 379 that has a whale tale on it. I pull covered wagon. I have been told that if I remove it, it will increase my MPG a little bit. Anyone have any info on this?

This way i would do it, i would run down too the local rental place, ok, and rent a opean one shelf scafloding unit, back truck thru it too sleeper , now you got plenty room too walk around , lights i try e bay mayby, 80 over in wallcotrt is way too spendy, your paying for there truckstop and musem although i love the place, my toy dump truck , it was a orange one with a big blade on front with working hydralics dumps is in his showcase, i sold it too him for 65 bucks way too cheap
but o well it went too good home plus i get too go too the musem, anyway next i call around the trucking companys around the area and see if there scrapping out any kw in there back yard, ya know the older more experaince trucker who rolled his truck on the first day of the job
im still kinda sore about that trucking company up there in wis, i worked my beenees off solid for 2 years making do with a junky tractor, then they award me with a brand new tractor then a week latter , they promise a student a new tractor , so there mine went and im in the back row selecting anthor junker too run, well week goes by and theres been anthor roll over in milwaukee in a light ran, i just got back too yard and i like too look at the wrecks , yup there be my tractor in a thousand pieaces on flatbed trl
o -well ill get it back after they rebuild it, the kid is gone
gee i wonder why, but theres a couple ideas i had. Everett.
