Werner is the lowest paying trucking company there is. They have new students starting every week so don't care about more senior drivers. Road Break down will tell a driver to run to a repair shop no matter what. 2 Examples 1. I was red taged
by the Ohio State Police and they still wanted me to drive 40 miles to get repaired and were upset I would not 2. On the Budweiser account Many times i was told to run even though the trailer was in dot violation the worst was no brakes no dot sticker 3 times on my qualicom to run 60 miles to the nearest T A. I did not but another driver did he told me he needed the money.

I think Werner is attempting to avoid another bankruptcy. The paring down of the office staff, sudden change in team vs solo, and NASDAQ downgraded the stock.

CSA is going to break the back of the company. Get ready for it!

I started off with Werner and did graduate the program but was unhappy with the pay and messedup qualcom instruction. Idiots ! Had a good dispatcher at first and then was given an ### for a dispatcher. Yeah I agree. Werner has lost its touch.

We had a Werner "sales rep", or "recruiter" or whatever ya wanna call him come out to our school here in Omaha, NE a few weeks ago. A very polished presentation indeed!

Seemed many of my fellow students were taken in by this guy, many of them young and/or gullable. I asked a few questions, like "how much contact do YOU have with drivers at Werner? Answer- Well, not directly but I am in contact with those who work directly with them". Then i asked "What is the most common problem you have, according to your drivers, with your paperless logs?" His answer: "haha, leaves too much time for them to get back on the road and make mo' money!" Sad, some of my fellow students actually believed him...

I wondered to myself, and aloud to a few students, how many drivers are getting the financial shaft just to pay for slick-willy's like this guy...

I think of bad thoughts of Jason, and its close to Halloween to! I was tired after a long run, I laid on my bunk and out sleeping hard faintly I heard my phone then louder, I scrambled for the phone on the front seat charging. I was looking at the clock, who could this be waking me before my break was over? (JASON) his voice sent chills down my spine! it was Jason Appunn, What a piece of work he is for Werner Enterprises! He asked why I wasn't up preparing! I said I have 2 more hours. Then it was on he systematically worked on getting me out! he counted me late at the guard shack of the drop in Reno the exit isn't even on the map yet and I found it! he gave me wrong addresses, sent me into San Fran over the Golden Gate with 3 hours left I was qualcoming at stop lights tried to get some help where to park. I got no answer! I had to wing it then his smart allick wise guy supervisor Mike say's there's a truck stop there if you had your quick refrence book I'd have found it. WRONG! there is one in Oakland I was told later. So basiclly these wise acres are paid to harrass drivers and creat a termination situation for drivers. thats what I see very poor decision on my part to go with them. Nit pickers load swapper's, back stabbin Liars. Gy the way after training I was told I'd be tossed a set of key's for a brand new truck NOT!!! I tested out in Fontana Ca. picked my truck up in Vegas in a body shop it was hit in the side needed new tires got them in Pheonix lots of other things wrong anyway Werner????? does not care!!!:biggrin_2551: all talk

OK here its the Law of D.O.T.. you are in the sleeper on ur 10 hour break.. You have to be showing in the sleeper tho.. if any company bothers you while you are in the sleeper.. you can legally restart your 10 hour break over. I do know who u are talking about (Jason) and Mike. Call DOT an talked to them. they will let you in how how things work.. well how long have you been with them .. if 6 mos. you can jump ship now but if they are paying for your schooling good luck.. Werner can be total flippin morons.. I left after 7 1/2 yrs they are letting 3 mos old driver because trainers.. NO thanks you.. but checking into what I have said u will find out that im right.. let me know.. good luck with them an the screw jobs they give the drivers now days.
