Oct.17-23rd Operation Safe Driver alert!!

Now I know yesterday was the 16th & not officially part of this operation but still noticed that of all the vehicles getting pulled over were 4-wheelers.

Running around South-Southwest Texas & there were plenty of bears out there writing tickets the whole way, both ways. A lot of the bears were DOT boys in their Tahoes too. Didn't see a single big truck on the shoulder getting a ticket. Saw lots of 4-wheelers though.

So maybe they are seriously looking at the fact that 4-wheelers have more accidents than big trucks & are more likely to be driving unsafely. I believe I saw a statistic showing that big trucks were involved in 20% of all accidents. That leaves 80% for the 4-wheelers by themselves. I wonder how many of the 20% involving big trucks were truly caused by the big trucks & not the morons in the 4-wheelers around them?

 

I do that alot at toll booths. I just act like I'm handing them my whole wallet.
It brings a strange look and laugh every time.
