Has anyone installed one of these? Curious if they work as well as they claim. My stock one is leaking (03 Detroit 12.7L 500hp) and I've been wanting to try one anyways. I attempted to buy one from PDI but the fellow I was speaking with was going to check on availability and never called me back. I gave him over 24 hours to return my call and I ordered one from Pittsburg Power. I was going to go with the turbo too but they're on backorder, I'll try one in the near future.

I have a C-15 and Mine works great. I have seen .4 MPG increase, for the year I have had it it has paid for itself. Good thing you didn't go with the PDI one, I saw the flow tests of em down at MATS, and the PDI Detroit doesn't even flow as much as stock. and I have heard their ends leak quite often.

Did you get the Coated or Un-coated?

Once you put it on tell post how it works for you.

I got the coated one. That's great to hear. It looks like I've got a leaking head gasket to repair this week too so it might be a bit before I can post results.

I would be more interested in testing the manifold complete because the restriction would be where it hits the turbo.
You can have any flow you like but if it cant get into the turbo fast I see no benefit

Testing an end section is almost worthless. Bolt the center section on and test with that and show me the results. I have no doubt that the PPI manifold should flow better it has a better tube design. What does the center look like though. How well does it handle heat?

I'll admit that I am not the most knowledgeable on flow bench techniques. But I do have a friend who designs cylinder heads. He's really good on a flow bench....
