Local Trucking Oppertunities with authority

    I am a O/O in Ohio and I just got my contract authority so now I am a carrier. I have been doing OTR but I am interested in getting some local work for a truck like scrap metal hauling or steel hauling or intermodal from the rail yards or ports. Or maybe there are freight brokers that deal in local freight or at least regional where a regular back haul could be scheduled for the return trip. I have access to a 53' van and a 48'flatbed for this project. If anyone has some leads for me about breaking into the local trucking seen I am all ears.
