    Welcome Randynose! I'm sure you'll find this forum to be a good place to get to know some really good folks. I'm a new driver but I've been a member here for 1 year. This place and these people have been the primary reason I've made it from Point A (thinking I might want to be a trucker) to Point B (being a new driver with just a couple of months solo).

    Please share your experience and don't be a stranger!

    Hey Oldnewbiegonnabe. Well, I used to visit some of the trucker forums back before I started driving, and did find a lot of useful information.

    I'm not one of those that "have trucking in his blood". I do enjoy many aspects of it though, and there are many good (and bad) people in the industry. I am just seeing what's been going on here on the busy trucker forums. :)

    Hi Randy. Welcome aboard!

    This is by far the best forum you will find in this industry. My husband has been in the business since 1983. Before that he drove for 8 years in the army. He finally decided this year that he wanted his own authority and to be his own boss. The ONLY way that I have been able to help him make that happen in because of the great folks here that share their wealth of info with folks like me. There are many wonderful people here that will answer your questions and probably many people you can help with the knowledge that you have gained over the years.

    Hey Thanks to all of you! I'll be trying to stay active and contribute decent info as much as time allows.

    I'm trying to cull together money saving tips for other drivers, etc...

    Such as using a bungee and vice grips to slide the tandems on a van.
