I read a story about Jerry Moyes not to long ago which allowed me to respect that man for what he has done in his life.

While those comments are garbage I must say that it's a true fact that Swift has some of the most beautiful, intelligent and other wise practically perfect in every way female drivers.

Myself, you, Majik, oneandonly included. (I just know I'm forgetting someone and am going to be soooooo hurt by a sharp stick)

I think one of the things that has irritated so many people is Jerry Moyes was able o accomplish what they only dream of.

He's an old man now. He wants to let someone else do it...which means allowing it to go public again. Something he did not want. But he's not the CEO any more. He's a highly respected figurehead.

I know I know! I thought it was hysterically funny.

 

All the bad talk and jokes about Swift are the same stuff that's been told for years .Only the name of the companies have been changed...Any old timers remember "Midwest Distribution"for $1 down you can own your own truck(worn out COE Freightliner),Green and Yellow Builders transport,the list goes on and on...Same stories different companies...

 

Ok. I'm done. I called my DM and asked for a week leave of absence because I have a couple medical items I have to take care of (which I do.) Missing a big patch of hair on the side of my head, dental items I would like to take care of and a lump on the inside of my thigh near my groin that is quite painful and is getting worse daily.

I was in CT, roughly 170 miles from the Jonestown PA terminal. They wouldn't let me deadhead to PA and said it was too far, but they let me deadhead to NH to pick up a load to get to PA. NH load was 150 miles away.

That makes NO sense. Now I'm waiting to be unloaded and I'm going to head back to the terminal to turn this truck in and take my week. If they EVEN try and let me go during my week off, I WILL take legal action. I have been trying to get to a hospital since Saturday and thy have me run this BS load which further irritates my condition. No idea how it happened but it hurts to do pretty much anything with my right leg. I can't take medical leave because I haven't been here 6 months yet so my DM let me take a week regular leave as long as I turned the truck in.

I'm going job hunting when I get home and looking up some prior leads. I'm done w this #### job. I am beyond fed up with swift and their stupid %£+#. F this job. You others can have it.
