I've had a Class A since Dec. 2001. I recently got a Following too close in 01/2009 and a Speeding (15-19 over) in 09/2009. I've been driving since and just received a letter from the DMV in the state of Florida that effective Nov. 22, 2010 my Class A will be suspended until Jan. 22,2010. Will I have a tough time getting back in the truck once my suspension is up?

Yeah you likely will have a hard time finding anyone that will hire you, not only because of the suspension but because of what it was for. Might start thinking about a career change. :biggrin_2556:

Yeah, tailgating and speeding over 15 are two of the 5 most serious offenses that get a CDL holder in deep do-do. The others are un-safe lane change, no CDL in possession and I can't remember the other one. So, you have to sit at home for 60 days, then attempt to get your old job back or a new one, right? BUT, my Friend, you will have two tickets in your file. Two serious tickets. Not good.

Agreed, sure looks like You're going down in flames because.......It's not only the state suspension but the PSP CSA points that will follow you for 3 years and haunt any potential carrier.

You MIGHT catch a ride with a O/O doing his own thing but I doubt a major will go near you for a while......Not good at all.
