Yes you do. You could go home but would then go back to the end of the line when you came back. You will be going back and forth to the motel, everyday, while your there. They have a "secure" room at the terminal but don't keep anything valuable there. Do take a small backpack with you to take clean clothes to the motel without lugging all your stuff, back and forth each day.

Ok But will I be working or jus waiting in the hotel room until they get to my name ..

Oh , you won't be waiting in a motel room. They will make you come to the terminal each and every day!!! Thats why I suggested the backpack and packing light. You might even get lucky and be sent on a recovery. Who knows. Once you do get on with them and get thru your training period, let me know and I'll PM your my name and # in case you have questions.

As long as you don't go home, you will still be making 50 bucks a day while waiting on your truck.
A recovery is some L/O that decided he was tired of not making any money and said "I quit"!!! Want your truck and tlr? Come and get it.calalan07 Thanks this. -

Trans am used to be a pretty decent company back in 2003 when I started driving. They tried to get me on the lease thing too, I said "no way Jose". Heard too many horror stories about those leases, especially the one Johnny Jacobson is offering. Anyway I spoke to a few drivers over the years who are on the lease plan. Have you ever seen a grown man cry? I worked with them for a year then moved on. Good luck to whoever is going to Trans am.

Yeah I going to start with transam on nov 10 and I plan on being a company driver and I got no family and kids so I plan on being out 3-4 months at a time ...
