My Friend had a problem with his turn signals, wipers, and interior lights, When I left this morning this was a complete truck. When I got back at about 6 pm there were parts all over the place and there was a lot of cursing and screaming going on. I looked in the cab and this is what I saw. I think he is going to need prozac or something soon.

Looks like the point of no return.
This is why i have trained myself to pay for a mechanic, even for the simplest of repairs. For me, Its usually cheaper to pay some one to fix it, rather then to pay some one to fix it, plus pay for everything else I damage when I lose my patience...
I did own a 65 Corvair once when I was in high school. I would recommend everyone parent have their children save up and buy one. They well learn valuable mechanical skills, weekly, plus every pay check will go just to keep the #### thing running. So it's a choice between party, or wheels every 2 weeks. Kept me pretty much in line during high school as I couldn't afford anything else....(p.s. Nader was an Idiot, that car would sit in a corner like a Porsche) -
And the schematics dont help, cause you'll always find a dozen or so of the same colored wires. Or you need the Hubble to read the print.
Just hope he doesn't fry the computer if there is one, cause then he's going to really swear. -
Thats why WE all have good wrench men......
All the best,
