baylor does not have a high safety score at all. They have 0 fatakities and 13 crashes in 24 months. there score is 55.60 because of their driver getting moving violations. That score is 79 as of 9-24-10. You may nit like them but at least tell it like it is driver. That's why no one every believes anything because it too fabricated. I know the scrore because I looked it up.

I worked for them the last part of 2009. Got good miles, just not paid for a lot of them. Was dispatched out of TN. Bad managing of drivers. It wasn't nothing to deliver in Nashville at 7 am and then told to take another 10 hr break because of Gap loads. They didn't care if u sat all day for free. Just wanted you to be a (sleep on demand driver) as Bob Baylor put it. What an idiot. No wonder their safety score and accidents went up. Best thing I did was to leave em. Baylor also only buys used trucks. He don't care about drivers, only the money he makes.

Also let be known if u quit or are fired they will not respond very quickly to another employers inquiry. Waited over a month and no reply. I had start calling them constantly until they responded. Then it wasn't positive. Luckily my present employer knows what kind of B.S. these people cause and hired me anyways.

When I was with JB Hunt as an O/O a lot of us sat at the JB hunt terminal, as we called it...The Pilot in Columbus OH. Sat there for days, called in and there was nothing available. But they keep on hiring drivers and O/O's even though we all sat and waited for a load. They know that driver won't put up with their crap of sitting so the get another duck out there when tha drivers quit. I fianlly asked them if this was an authorized drop yard and they said yes, ,which i did via qualcom and took a picture of it. So i told them Ok I quit and your trialer is here. I bobtailed out.

Tehs, I'm sorry, but this is a Baylor Trucking thread. Did what you wrote about involve Baylor Trucking or JB Hunt?

Baylor pays .39 for exp. drivers and .34 for greenhorns right out of training. ###### company never the less..... but not so bad pay. Oh by the way in defense of Baylor. Although they may show the short miles on the qualcom. They pay correctly on the check stub usually being off by about 3 to 6 percent or hub. Pcmiler, Rand, or zip to zip are all in that neighborhood sometimes off by 10% but rarely.
