Can really tell harvest is about over as the loads are becoming harder to find. Hauling on ethanol contract until end of October, I hope there is some more next month.

Have you had this nasty wind out there this week, WH, or just your normal Kansas wind? :biggrin_25525:

I guess I should have said normal ,for a windy day, for us. I think overall the wind averages 10-15 mph a day.

I've heard it said that Kansas farmers don't rotate their crops, they rotate their dirt. :biggrin_255:

Had another typical windy day yesterday. The hauling to ethanol plant is about done. Yesterday there were around 10 NSG trucks at the plant from Nebraska, it must be a big outfit.

Well I have bragged on it for to long.... lol My C12 is blowing slime out the blowby and drinking antifreeze but it is all original with 950k ecm miles so I already have my appointment set for monday monday for an inframe and a bunch of other misc.

And now for the good news I finished harvest and finished my harvest delivery contracts last night!! Nothing else starting til last 2 weeks of november.... then I'm booked up full right through the end of May so if there was a good time for it to happen it was now

Is that Nebraska Salt & Grain? Do they still have red and gold T-600's?

Well at least it decided to give up after harvest instead of during. Where are you getting it overhauled at? How were the yields in your area?

Yes, it was Nebraska Salt & Grain. They were red and black volvo's now. Actually could have been red and gold.
