I went through T.M.Cs S.C orintation, then their 2 wk. trng. period for exp.drivers.Im gonna say they seem like a great co.and I agree shawn was a very good instructor as was gordon and micheal. But my outcome was a little different,I did real good on all thier test ,driving and paperwork. Then I met my trner ,went on the rd.for 11/2 wks.they called us off the rd. to stop in cayce S.C.(200 miles out of rt.)where they fired him for low productivity. The next day I had a new trnr.for 11/2 more wks. Then I was all excited gonna test out in Des Moines and get my own truck--right-- wrong 2 days before that they called me and said(and I quote) Sorry jim but corporate has changed hiring areas we are no longer hiring out of Fl. we will give you a bus ticket (from Indpls. in. to panama city fl.) good luck. That was my experience with tmc.I hope you have a much better outcome than I .I hold nothing against them. The people I have worked with were good people. It wasnt thier call. Meanwhile in Fl. looking for a driving job.Wish you the best.

TMC might have great training but they really dont know how to treat people...They seem to toss people around like a rag doll. No feelings whatsoever..but i guess thats how it is in the trucking industry.

    WTF???

Yeah there's another way to say we don't have enough freight and you're being laid off... it goes like this "you're fired for low productivity".

Man your situation sucks, but your first trainer got phacked in the behind.

According to the website, a 1st year driver can make 37 cpm. Were you really making 44 cpm in 2008?

I've been reading a lot about TMC on this site. Seems to me the people that complain about not getting paid enough are the people that are lazy and don't want to do what needs to be done. Can sombody please tell me why you would receive a $250 paycheck for a week out? Doesn't seem right to me but please explain.

I'm just curious.... how do you come to that conclusion? Do you know their work habits? Keep track of their dispatches/miles? Just curious.
