504 gateway time out

    Anyone else get this message?

    Normally between 2-2:10 am eastern time I get a 504 Gateway Time Out message when trying to load, post, or refresh these forums. At first I thought it was my ISP. But then I started going to other websites during the above mentioned times, and they load as normal.

    Redd I get that a lot. I get off at midnight and it happens a lot. The staff said it is when they do updates, maintenance and such on here.

    It's a shame members can't post a question in the information center without getting bashed with political crap. Which only tells me a lack of respect for that member or the site as a whole. :biggrin_25513:

    REDD, the servers do a backup every night at the time you specified. The Admin posted it in here some where. I believe it does it twice a night. 12am and 2am. I'm sure Sam will chime in later.

    I'm not worried about WCP or notarps. I know they were just doing a friendly hijack... I didn't see any harm in their joking manner.

    OK, I did look for anything about this. But didn't look to deep. I don't get those messages at midnight.

    When I said Midnight>> CST, so east coast would be 1am and 3am. The times may have changed now.
