1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I have not been looking really hard. But I am looking for work. I have a CDL-A with Taker and Doubles. No Hazmat, I have to pay $89.00 and some change, to get it, because I have to take a background check. The CDL is here in Michigan where I live. I got the thing back in 2003, thinking that it would help get me a job. Yeah right, :biggrin_25513:didn't happen.

I just want something where I can be home every night. I'm an only child and I have elderly parents and I just couldn't live with myself, if I just up and abandoned them. :biggrin_25513:

Anyhow, anyone reading this forum, who is looking for a Non-smoking, Non-drinking, born again Christian --- who's not overly nutty about it --- driver. Who will not rip you off, and will deliver your goods and will try like hell not to wreck your truck. I am your guy. I just want to be around to help the folks out. I think you people know what I mean.

If it means anything, I drove a Straight Truck or a Stake Truck (Take yer pick) for over a year, and I never once wrecked that thing. I drove through more ugly than you could shake a stick at, and never once ended up in bad situation.

I just need a darned job.

    Can Ya'll help?

    Thanks... :biggrin_255:
