Little America machine coffee

I haven't posted here in awhile but after stopping at the Little American in the past couple of weeks I was curious if any are experiencing the same thing.

It's not just the machine coffee. I used to like this place. Now you can't even get fresh-brewed coffee on the mountain. The toilets were a good reason to stop there, clean and walled off. They're still clean but the last two times I stopped there it was closed for cleaning. The last time I waited an hour to use the stool and after resting in the truck for an hour went back in to get something to eat and noticed it was closed again. It seems like they close the restroom for an hour every two hours.

The food is not good anymore and the people working there seem to treat customers like they're just getting in the way of their idle chat. I know this sounds harsh but I stopped there twice within two weeks and experienced the same thing both times. Maybe this was just my perception but I'm going out of my way now to not stop there.

 

One thing I used to like about it is that there were usually people stopping and staying there other than truckers. Now it just seems to be all truckers. Unfortunately, that's probably why they're letting the services and everything else go down. A very bad business decision which will cost them eventually.

 

It's been a few years since I've been up there. I wonder if they also went to machine coffee.
