just the usual for a newbie. pack a bag for about 10 to 20 days away. bring along the usual toiletries. when in the orientation, DO NOT FALL ASLEEP, as they can kick you out. be on time for the shuttle bus that picks you up. listen intently when the orientation people talk. when you get assigned a driver-trainer, listen to him as well. try not to out think him or his decisions.
do not argue with anyone at the company, especially your driver-trainer, not that you would, i'm just saying as an "attitude" problem will be reason enough to fire you.
probably some more tidbits, but others will chime in for this later.
very best of luck yo you, and when possible, keep us posted on your progress.
Star is a good company by the way, you might actually want to stay there a while.
Good luck with Star! Keep us informed about your training and your expieriences with Star... I know a few of the folks from here have already attended and they like it alot. Again, good luck and keep us updated.
