Did I really just see that?

Watched a SWIFT driver do an illegal u-turn last week. Didn't hit anyone and was clear of all cars, but it was a MARKED no-uturn intersection and there was a LOT of traffic.

 

So a guy on a motorcycle is supposed to dart in front of the truck trying to stop him when he's already doing an illegal u-turn in the middle of a busy intersection, yeah seems like the smart thing to do.

 

Bad joo-joo's for sure, whether he's a newb OR AN OLD TIMER.

 

I don't think some folks get your humor here, but I thought it was funny as hell!

So why don't you enlighten all the rest of us dumb folks as to just HOW someone was supposed to stop this guy? Some of us really would like to hear what you have to say about this.

 

Boy , everyone is defensive these days. I'd say he was a fool like most other "professionals" Probably an owner operator, they all drive like I do, I drive like they do.

Well since he was doing the u-turn at the intersection it is safe to say that all traffic was stopped since he did strike the car of the oncoming traffic...and we all know just how quickly a big rig can make a u-turn...

 

Did you read the original post, he struck the car that was beside him when his trailer swung out. If he's that dumb that he doesn't realize that's going to happen what makes you think he'll see a motorcycle?

 

Oh like nobody's ever made a u turn . C'mon get real.
