Connex or Galaxy

Strykers are downright awesome...

A good radio guy (to me) would order in what you want....after all, Galaxy, Connex, RCI, Ranger, General......are all made by Ranger Communications, Inc. Same board inside.

 

Me personally wouldn't give 10 cents for any of the 10 meter radios they dont last like
they used to......Any radio with a built in amp is asking for trouble IMO heat kills electronics
amplifiers create heat i dont want that heat in my radio.....

For the same money or less you can buy a cobra or uniden and have it tuned and get a
small 2 pill or 3 pill amplifier and get far better results out of that setup than a hi powered
10 meter rig anyday....and you have a reliable rig as well....

I have an old Galaxy 44 that still talks loud and clear as it did about 15 years ago when i bought it.
Also loved the Connex 3300 but it was stolen one night at a truck stop in New Mexico...

 

Yep 10 meter radios .... if there is such a thing

 

Galaxy over the Connex 4300 300, Connex 4600 Turbo is new with a new look and large meter, Connex 4600 Turbo or the 98 both are exellent. SWR is everything in big radios buy a good meter and monitor yours.
