onthefence, i'm originally from NY too, actually not to far south from ya as matter of fact. NYS can be a pain in the behind with their examiners for road tests, and i mean for a class d let alone a cdl. wish ya luck, stay positive and don't over think it.

If you die in a fiery wreck that destroys the cargo and kills a family in a minivan, thats ok, they have insurance that covers that.

That happened in Jacksonville. The driver had been going for 36 hours straight and he killed seven kids. When the grandfather found out, he had a heart attack and died, bringing the total to eight...

Third attempt: score 35. It would have been 25, but as the examiner was talking to me, I blew past the LAST yield sign of the course (walking distance from the end! aarggh). The icing on the cake is that this examiner is known for being the toughest. He does not rubber stamp. If he passes you, then you passed!

    Ranger_309 Thanks this.

Yes. Passing is any score under 50. The examiner never even said that I passed. He said 'sign here' and that was it. Until I looked at the slip, I didn't know that I passed.

Wedge, walstib and Ranger_309 Thank this.
