May be a little thing to some, but it's a big thing to me.

Might be just my impression, but the CDL school I am going to did a great job of preparing me to pass those tests the first time.

Hopefully they will do an equally good job with the driving skills.

wulfman75, walstib and orion3814 Thank this.

WOW you really can be helpful :biggrin_25523:

We have to spend a week observing from back before they let us in the driver seat. We are "encouraged" to ask questions. Every chance I get I am going to practice and if I don't get a chance I am going to ask for it.

I am going to try and not be somebody ya'll talk about on the CB..:biggrin_2556:

    Good for you dawg!
It was a big thing to me too when I got mine. I remember it well.
This is the 1st step, on to the next. Gotta walk before you can run. Take it all in and do your very best. We're here if you ask for guidance....

    Good for you!

Now that you have a CDL,you need to drive safe in _all_ your vehicles, cause there ain't no traffic school, "get-out-of-jail free card" for us drivers after you have your CDL in your wallet.

Whatever points you rack up, you are stuck with from now on.

Knew that, but thanks. Problem with being a Paramedic current or former.. You obey road rules just because you don't want to be on the stretcher or worse..

It's NOT just a little deal, it's your first step! Everyone on this forum, if not 99.9% of them, started where you are. (even if some have forgotten!) Keep at it, relax and enjoy it!
