:biggrin_2558: A little ways back I took some advice I received in this forum. My biggest problem was finding work because I bounced around too much. The advice I was giving was when you find work stay there for at least one year. Back in June 2010 I took an OTR position with a small company in Indiana "100 trucks" with the full intention of taking the advice I received and stay there for at least one year, however in the past 15-years I have never seen so much stupidly. Now I find my self returning equipment once again, well despite the stupidly I did last 5 months it's a dam shame there are so many problems at the company.

:biggrin_25513: This is the list I gave them for leaving, and they still wanted me to stay.

    1. To many fuel problems, go to get fuel and got to wait until money hits T-Check. I have been driving a truck since 1995 and not once have I had a problem getting fuel, why wait till T-Check is empty before adding funds, all this dose is make the company look broke make loads late and piss off drivers.
    2. Out of network fuel system stinks. When I ran a load from Mass to New York I had to stop time for out of network fuel
    3. No easy pass I am tired of begging for advance to pay YOUR tolls
    4. To many breakdowns causing a lot of time lost. Without pay.
    5. Runs are to short, when you spend half the day getting loaded and unloaded it make for a 14-hour day with little pay, I spend on average 18hours waiting for unloading and reloading a week
    6. No southern freight the place I prefer to run in 5 months I saw one Alabama load

:biggrin_25511: Ok the above list is only the tip of the ice burg!!!

:biggrin_25526:You might be asking your self well what is this guy looking for??

    My answers.
    Good equipment "under 400,000 miles".
To be paid what is owed each week.
Dispatchers 'Fleet managers" what ever you want to call them. That know what they are doing.
Long haul freight, 1000-2500 mile runs
    Weekly miles from 2500-3800 miles
    EASY PASS
Southern freight, I am live in PA. I am willing to stay out 4 weeks at a time
One day off for each 6 days out.
    65 mph truck or faster.

:biggrin_2556: I am at the end of my rope the harder I try to stay with one company the harder they make it.

    Any suggestions?
Please do not ask what company I am leaving.

While I personally hate this company.

    I'll recommend them to you.

    Southern Refrigerated - Texarkana AR

You'll get southern loads, west coast loads, east coast loads. And LONG runs.

Provided you can stand the BS they hand out. It could be a good place to work.

Be forewarned though. they can #### with your head sometimes. Especially if one of their "pet" drivers gets within 50 miles of you, and starts whining.

When the produce starts running....east west east west east.

Yep, nice long runs, but if I told you what they offered me for pay when I called them, you'd puke! :biggrin_2556:

They have sank Soooooo low over the past 7-8 years.

Time was, you could expect .35 or more to start. Hell you could make over .50 a mile training.

    Those days are gone.

Yep. They were one of the carriers I was interested in when I got the CDL in 2007. 32 cpm is ok for a beginner, but I'd like to think that I should be worth more than that. I'm no supertrucker, but I'm no beginner either.

Miles? I have not actually added them all up, to tell the truth. Companies? Three. Started in 2007, Took off for 7 months for a deployment with the Marine Corps Reserve and came back to it.

Garero Trucking, Arrow (bad news), and Crosby.
