Cobra Electronics 7700 PRO GPS

Coming into Dallas on I-30 to I-45 it froze up twice. Second time I've had that happen.

Coming from the Pilot in Amarillo to Lois Ave or road in Sanger TX for 160-182 miles on 287 it constantly told me to go left go right every 1/4 mile or so just driving me nuts at 2am. Finallu muted her.

From Amarillo it wanted to route me I-40 to I-35 in OK. I routed it to Henryetta TX for a while. Then Switched to Sanger.

I guess I will do another update tomorrow.

 

when is the new map update due

 

why so long between map updates other gps makers do it every 6 months or more
the cobra is so outdated Isnt the cobra aimed at the trucking industry i dont know about the USA but here in Canada we have all kinds of new roads leading into new industial areas i can name 3 in the toronto area that made it into last years map quest 2010 edition but cobra missed them

 

Hi Brian 2 weeks you posted that version 1.5.1.27 was released and provided a link to it, the link goes to the download for version 1.5.1.23, any idea when the page will be updated.

 

is there some place to update the cobra 7700 pro gps ? I have had one sicne they hit the market I used mine on every route . I have no complants on this unit
