no, i'm not hugh rowlings, and if i acted like he does, i'd expect to get told, but i have always been a loner and I dont bother anyone, I live by my rule, " live and let live" , and as i stated earlier, i fought my own family members defending the states for going to war.. but thats all in the past now. I just got tired of all the bull at the border and in recent years . even after you got across the border. but now because of a broker that i should have said bye too the first time he couldnt afford to fix his truck. I may now lose my home, simply because i am unable to get another job without a fast card or passport.. i know , my own dam fault for not putting myself first before some broker with a sob story every day. i am working on the passport, but it may not come fast enough.. lesson learned i guess.

you know I orginally put up a post about brokers that dont pay drivers, which is by the way no better than someone stealing wages from another person. and all I have gotten in response is a bunch of remarks critisizing me for what ever reasons. that only tells me one thing and thats those persons think its cool or ok to steal from another person, especially if its wages out of someones pocket., I guess that dont really suprise me after 34 years of trucking, thats just a good example of why truck drivers do not stick together and why this industry is in the sad shape it is in now. not like when I started out, truck drivers all stuck together like a brotherhood. my experience, i knew better than to expect anything different, but I put the post up only to let anyone else know and not to get shafted by the same person. next time I won't bother wasting my time.

Note to all in this post if you are an Owner Operator looking for work stay away from One Call Logistics in Mississauga 2722 Rena Rd. Not getting paid or just enogh to cover your fuel so you rarely get your hole pay,his 15 and 30 day pay dates maybe you will get it the following month,NO Contract you get 80% of gross you pay plates, insurance and trailer rental,I was running out to Winnipeg mostly, but going about 1350 miles for $2100.00 and about the same comming back $1800.00on the return just did not seem enough less his 20% and about $1800.00 in fuel then he wants plates insurance and trailer rental wow,And iI still need to find money to keep my truck fit.Of couse these prices are on full loads not LTL best I seen there was $3300.00 out with 5 drops dont get paid extra for those even if you have to go out to Brandon that extra 2 hrs and 100 plus miles.I am still waing for pay and 3 pay staments called his many times his answer on the weekened or I am all along in the office and can,t do them right now I will send them on the weekend LOL to my self i have heard this one befor.

Also I read some where that somebody was going to work for Arnold Brothers,Been there and done that the one thing that I can say that if you are looking to get home to Ontario, it seems like there is no freight going this way they ask you can you go west again then come back to Winnipeg maybe we can get you home,As far as the company goes I can not say anything bad about them, there are some staff members that are not so easy to get along with but I am sure that is with most places,I was talking to 1 of there company drivers some time ago and he told me that those sfaff member are no longer working there,However he did tell me that some of them are now working for Trappers in Winnipeg so if you are looking into that company I would proseed with caution.
