As many people are moving into truck driving jobs, good driving mentors are needed to train the new drivers. Please list any and all info you have to help these people select a mentor who REALLY cares about SAFETY, FAMILY, and HEALTH issues. All OF OUR FAMILIES DEPEND ON GOOD MENTORS.
Thank you,

How much ya paying?

Companies assign you to a trainer. Far as I know you don't get to choose one. However, you can ask to be switched. In that case they assign you to another one as soon as the freight allows. Again no choice

Not a thing, but you could help out new drivers.

What you say is true, but if you know of a good mentor, you can ask for him, and they will help you get in touch with them. Good mentors are hard to find.
My hat goes off to them.

Unfortunately doll I have yet to see a company let you choose who your trainer is unless you are going to be a husband wife team or you are bringing in a relative to co-drive with after training.

I would tend to agree with you, but a friend of mine who just graduated from Swift knew a mentor, and asked for him. He is now on the road with him. Lucky him.
