Background info

    How do I go about finding out about a owner/operators previous trucking background?

    I'm not sure about previous background but I do know. You can check the status of their DOT number and if they have valid insurance. It will give you some history.

    I posted some where in a thread, about 8 months ago. I will try to find the link but don't wait on me. You can look at FMSCA site and probably find it yourself. They have a 800 number to call as well for verification.

    you might be able to find his company listed on some sites such as:

    Dunn & Bradstreet

    Hoover's .com

    Manta . com

    the secretary of state business regulation dept.

    the local BBB

    some of those sites may require you to register to gain access.

    Thanks for all the links....I've been checking them out when ever I can get more than a moment of time.

    There is something about this guy that makes my hair stand on end......and I just can't put my finger on it.

    do you work for this o/o.....????

    if no.......then why worry, MOVE ON.....

    if yes, and you think something is wrong, START looking for another job...???

    why go through the rigor-mo-role for this o/o......???
