1. DISPATCH DELAY on the clock
2. 34 hr restart (on the clock) and hotel if requested
3. weather delay (on the clock)
4. DOT INSPECTION (on the clock)
5. 41.5 loaded
6. 34.5 mt

That confirms what I said in another post . Quality has over 100 terminals , many of them affiliate owned and each has different policies . I work for an affiliate and we have newer , assigned trucks . I've seen trucks parked for 2 or 3 weeks while drivers were off for vacation or medical reasons . Dispatch always calls me to see if I will accept a load before they assign it to me in the system . Company drivers for Quality now have assigned routes with designated fuel stops they must use . That doesn't apply to me as an affiliate driver .

 

I think the terminal you guys spoke of went under when they lost the dupoint account

i tryed to work with qc in tampa,but i found out that they were an affiliated(lazer tank lines).I was told that the training cost in nc,was 1,200 dollars and i had to paid it if i didn't stay with them for at least6months.they asked me to sign a contract and during the first 3 months,they were supposed to take 100,00 a week from my check until they could have they're 1,200 back to cover the cost of the training in case i wanted to quit.after 6months of employment with the company,if i had no late deliveries,spill or any other incident,they told me i could have my1,200 dollars back.I don't know if they have the same rules in the other terminals but in tampa,they are a pain in the neck.

 

Too bad Lazer Tank Line in Tampa wont give a pay breakdown to their drivers! Oh i mean Quality Carriers #896 Tampa.
You can ask what they pay, You will be lucky to get an answer!
I think they hide this so they won't have to pay the drivers what they earn. That way you can't figure you pay check!
Don't worry you will never know if Lazer Tank Line or i mean Quality Carriers #896 shorted you check! On a weekly basis! Beware Drivers! #896 Is a scam!
Thankfully i moved on! Too much stress there asking what happened to the rest of my check!

 

The easiest answer is they are scam artists at Lazer Tank Line or Quality Carriers #896.! The scam you just reported isn't the only thing they do! In 6 months you won't imagine the crap they will scam you for! Hope you find a good job friend!
