Never tried to get cash in a strip club, but the bottom line is that "most" truckstop ATM's are ripoffs. It's not always convenient to drive my 379 and 53' trailer into my local bank, so, by necessity, I often end up using the ATM at a TS. Many times a small, local TS will charge a reasonable fee (1-2 dollars), but a Pilot or Loves will charge $3.50, or more.

Other than "we do it because we can", what is the sense in that? Admittedly, I sometimes just eat the bullet, and pay the fee, but it always tees me off that they are such ripoff artists.

And, yeah, Kwicktrips are the best--0 charge.

yeah i almost always try to stop at a walmart and get 100 cash back there but when i do have the joy of using a TS Atm its anywhere from 3-4 bucks and then on top of that my friggin bank charges me 3 bucks for using an ATM outside of canada. almost as expensive as trying to get money out of an atm in a casino in vegas, 6-8 bucks per transaction is the norm there.
