Hello from Mesa

I just wanted to introduce myself. I joined a couple of forums today because I love keeping up with what is going on. I started in this business in 1979 in the insurance business as a agent insuring trucking companies, and from there I got a few trucks and leased them out. After a while I sold my agency and bought one of my customers fleet. We ran about 70 company trucks, and did I ever get a lesson in work!
Last year I sold out and took some time off, but found myself lurking around just about anything to do with trucks. I have never had a CDL, but I do love this business. So I joined this forum, and if I can ever help answer any questions, or help point someone in the right direction I will be glad to do it. Drivers, and this industry have made my living all these years so anything I can do to help re-pay all that this industry has done for me I will. I doubt many have the respect for drivers more than I do.
